We take Safety your seriously at VFIT.  Because reformers use springs and moving carriages, we have limited our class size to 5 participants only.  Small groups allow for safer, more precise supervision, that enables you to receive individualised instruction that will allow you to progress, mastering more complex reformer movements over the weeks.   It’s like the personalized attention of a private session with the motivation of a group setting.

 

Here is what you can expect over the next 6 weeks

 

Week One:  The Foundation Flow  This class Focuses on the “5 Fundamentals”—breathing, concentration, control, precision, and flow. This class introduces machine familiarity (carriage, springs, foot bar), and foundational exercises like footwork, feet in straps and The hundred.  Guaranteed to build strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness through controlled, resistance-based movements for a full body workout. 

Week Two: Mobility & Release  A recovery-focused session emphasizing hip mobility (Feet in Straps) and spinal decompression (Short Spine). Perfect for desk-bound clients looking to “lengthen the spine and create space”.

Week Three: Sculpt & Burn  Using the reformer to “strengthen and lengthen” through deep, controlled movements. Expect a focus on glutes, core, and arms using varying spring tensions to increase the challenge.  Movements Includes stomach massage series,  and the elephant.

Week Four:  Flow and Progression Part One  This Full body workout is a refresher of all you have practiced so far and also includes the knee stretch series and pelvic lift.

Week Five:  Flow and Progression Part Two  This class incorporates some elements of each series as well as the long box series and long box stretch series.

Week Six:  X Training on the Reformer: This cross training class, includes dynamic, functional movements like the Knee Stretch Series and standing Scooter and more, to build explosive strength and stability.
