Simply Somatics Classes

Simply Somatics  classes are for everyone, no matter your profession, age, background – we all experience stress.  Stress causes chronic muscle tension, and over time this builds up until we become less flexible; develop persistent aches and pains; lose the freedom to move easily and stop doing the things we love.

Whether you’re  juggling work and family life and don’t have time for hours of self-care every day.  Whether you are approaching retirement or are retired and finding it more difficult to move easily and comfortably.   Maybe you are fit and active (professional) or (for fun) but are experiencing  niggles and aches and pains that just don’t seem to go away.

 

Are you tired of being told you just have to “live with it”   Are you ready for an explanation that is clear, sensible, and actionable.  Take back control of your health by learning simple but effective movement patterns you can do for yourself, by yourself, whenever and wherever you’d like.

In these classes you will learn how to abolish chronic muscle pain, reduce tension, manage stress, improve your movement and experience true relaxation. These easy movements can help you stay pain-free, comfortable and relaxed every day.  They’re safe, simple, effective and best of all they feel really good to do!

A Hybrid of  Simply Somatics classes are current available as:

  • Live face to face workshops
  • Live face to face courses (TBC)
  • Livestream online classes (morning & evening).

 

Simply Somatics will give you the tools, inspiration, and support on your journey  to helping you feel comfortable in your body as you move into the future.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Live Classes and Workshops

  • You may wish to bring your own mat and a cushion for comfort
  • Wear comfortable clothing you can move around in
  • You may wish to bring your own blanket

All live classes and workshops are delivered at Sporthal Ockenburgh Wijndaelerduin 27, 2554 BX Den Haag

Online Sessions:     We will be using Google Meet for all online classes

  • Ensure you have a good connection and the volume is set so you can hear it.
  • Ensure you have enough space on the floor to slide your arms and legs out
  • Wear comfortable clothing you can move around in easily
  • Find a quiet space where you will be un-interrupted
  • You will need a mat or a rug and cushions for comfort
