The Pilates Hedgehog, fondly known as “The Hog”. The Hog is a multi-functional piece of equipment which not only improves core stability but can be used to release trigger points on the spiky side up then turned over it becomes a balance board to improve balance. The Hog is like using a Bosu and a Foam Roller all at once and allows you to relax, and lengthen tight muscles and tension and leaves you with the feeling you get after your favorite mind-body class! If you feel burnout – this is definitely the workshop for you.
We combines simple but effective pilates, yoga and somatic movements that incorporate your breath and allow you gain awareness of your body and encourages you to sense and take control of what triggers your back pain, whether the pain is at the top of your spine between your shoulders, around your rib cage and naval or in your hips and lower back.
Take back care to a new level increases your spinal movement, flexibility, balance, posture, and helps reduced any back pain you may be experiencing.
For this workshop you may wish to bring your mat, wear comfortable clothing and bring your water bottle. All other equipment will be provided for this workshop.
